The Mountaineering Acoustics Network (MAN), launched in 2025 as part of the Mountaineering Acoustics Network & Terrain Lab Equipment
(MANTLE), is a not-for-profit initiative focused on mountaineering acoustics.
We carry out field recording in mountain environments and work with audio processing; machine learning is applied where it supports the analysis.
Selected field recordings and releases are published via Mantle Production.
